OUR VISION
Our vision at Grace CityChurch is to create an expanding network of simple home-based churches who are known for their radical love for one another and who intentionally build deep, genuine relationships with others in their neighborhoods and cities, with a willingness to the suspend their own comforts in order to meet the needs of those around them.
OUR HISTORY
We have been in the Passaic - Clifton - Paterson area since our founder, James Morris, first started a gathering in his home in 1889. Throughout our history we have consistently emphasized participation in Christ's mission and have spent the last 30 years working hard at understanding Jesus' grand strategy (Eph 3:8-12; Acts), and what that looks like here in North Jersey.
Our simple churches gather each week in neighborhoods throughout the area, for a meal and time of sharing what the Lord is teaching us, so that we can continue shaping our lives and households around the teaching of the apostles.
We also have monthly network gatherings at our City Center (45 Hazel Street, Clifton, NJ), where all the simple churches come together to celebrate Jesus and engage in discussion focused on key ideas and strategy development.
